Fave OJ memory: This was a while ago but last summer, the Tenley liquor store owner put their kid behind the counter and me & Kris snagged some 40’s for free!That was awesome, quite a fond memory.
I often find myself comforted by nature, literature, photography, and friendship- all four mean so much to me. The Bishop’s garden group is my family; a clique that, for the majority, has known each other since middle school. It’s an ominous thing to imagine my life without Kris, Roxanne, Beth, Maggie, Jake- well everyone.
Even though Maggie was originally my closest friend, I couldn’t help but become enthralled in the new exciting friendship between Kris and I. Never would I intentionally hurt her, or anyone for that matter. At times I just get caught up in the moment, and for that one instant where I’m not being cautious or over-analytical, I make a mistake. People have expectations for me: I need to be smart, I need to be chill, I need to be the perfect friend. All of these different images that I’m supposed to uphold only make me think harder and deeper about myself; someone who, at age 15, I’m still getting to know.
